I just set this up, so these are all initial impressions (two days of operations):

GREAT build quality, seems to be solid and well made (other dehumidifiers I've owned have been cheaper in both cost and quality).

Relatively quiet, more like a fan than an air conditioner.

Easy set up, simple operation.

Good dehumidifying qualities, so far.

NOTE: the packaging to me is an embarrassment. I've never seen something delivered to me in a box that was so poor at protecting the unit. That said, the unit arrived without any scratches or damages (I opened it up while the UPS driver waited, just to be able to potentially document any problems).
